www.fairRenting.com is committed to protecting and respecting your privacy.

This includes information provided at the time of registering to use the site, subscribing to the service, posting material or requesting further services. We may also ask you for information when you enter a competition or promotion sponsored by fairRenting, and when you report a problem with the site;

1.1.2. if you contact us, we may keep a record of that correspondence;

1.1.3. We may also ask you to complete surveys that we use for research purposes, although you do not have to respond to them;

2.1. Please note that any of our future advertisers may use cookies, over which we have no control.

3. Where we store your personal data

3.1 We will take all necessary steps to ensure that your data is treated securely and in accordance with this privacy policy.

3.2. All information you provide, is stored on my secure servers. Where you have been given (or where you have chosen) a password which enables you to access certain parts of the site, you are responsible for keeping this password confidential. We ask you not to share a password with anyone.

3.3. Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. Although we will do my best to protect your personal data, we cannot guarantee the security of your data transmitted to the site; any transmission is at your own risk. Once we have received your information, we will use strict procedures and security features to try to prevent unauthorised access.

4.2. We will not intentionally use your data, or permit third parties to use your data. All data will be kept confidential on this site. Notwithstanding, third parties may, through means out with our control, contact you regarding sales. We will do our best to prevent this.

4.4. If you are a new user, and where permitted selected third parties to use your data, we (or they) will contact you by electronic means only if you have consented to this.

4.5. If you do not want us to use your data in the future please tick the relevant box situated on the form on which we collect your data (the registration form).

This does not included internal (this site) emails to users. This will always be available.

4.6. We will not disclose information about identifiable individuals to future advertisers, but we may provide them with aggregate information about site users.  We may also use such aggregate information to help advertisers reach the kind of audience they want to target.

5. Disclosure of your information

5.1. We may disclose your personal information to third parties: This being 4.6 above.

5.1.1. In the event that we sell www.fairRenting.com we may have to disclose your personal data to the prospective buyer of such business or assets;

The Data Protection Act gives you the right to access information held about this site. Your right of access can be exercised in accordance with the Act. Any access request may be subject to a fee of £10 to meet costs in providing you with details of the information held about you.
